One Fun Mum

FN 1.1 023
A clean green mum

Now, this is truly a mum of a different color and I have to say it’s intriguing. Did you take a second glance? Yes, that’s actually a flower and not simply part of the foliage. Once the initial novelty wears off, I think you’ll agree that this bold, clean green holds a wealth of design potential.

Trendy chartreuse makes other colors look their best

Our ‘Key Lime’ mum is actually a shade of chartreuse, that trendy color that has soared in popularity over the last couple of years. It’s understandable—almost every other color looks good next to chartreuse. We’ve remarked that it acts like a highlighter for purple and pink flowers, but this shade of lime green can also serve to tone down a bold red or orange in the fall.

On the other hand, a background of deep red or purple foliage makes ‘Key Lime’ radiate out of a display. We recommend pairing this mum with some of our autumn edibles, like ‘Red Giant’ mustard, ‘Scarlet Bor’ or ‘Peacock Red’ kale, or ‘Osaka Red’ cabbage. ‘Solar Power Black’ ipomoea spilling out around them makes the yellowy-green flowers pop.

Keep it green for cutting-edge designs

If a monochromatic effect is what you’re going for, you’ve got it right here in one package: green flowers surrounded by green foliage. It’s an eye-catching look and kind of mod, especially if you plant ‘Key Lime’ in a sleek green pot. Bring in some trailing ‘Solar Power Lime’ to elevate the arrangement to a timeless, elegant classic.

‘Key Lime’—whimsical and fun

When added to combinations we find that this variety offers great contrast but also helps blend different elements together. Most importantly it breathes a touch of cutting-edge fun into whimsical displays that celebrate the season. All in all ‘Key Lime’ is a unique, beautiful, and most useful mum.

This selection comes in the 4.5 and 8-inch pot sizes.
