‘Christmas Feelings Pink’

Red and white are the VIPs (Very Important Poinsettias) of holiday décor and pink is right behind them. We like pink—it lightens the mood and takes a design in a subtler, slightly exotic direction. A unique color at this time of year makes a difference; it heightens the interest in a display when the goal is to stand out from the classic crowd.

Pure, consistant color stays true as it ages

 You know we take pride in our quality poinsettias, including our number three VIP. Our signature variety is ‘Christmas Feelings’, with large pointed bracts in pure, brilliant pink—it’s one of the most consistent pink poinsettias on the market. Unlike other varieties with dark green foliage, the bracts on ‘Christmas Feelings’ stay true to their color without taking on a grayish tinge as they age. We find the contrast of dark green and vibrant pink striking.

Although the color is outside the typical Christmas box, the look here is thoroughly traditional. Plants have the sturdy V-shaped structure we expect with a full, lush canopy over the top. They’re also compact and uniform: two qualities we count on when it comes to choreographing our holiday displays. 

‘Christmas Feelings’ blooms mid-season and has a long shelf life. It holds its leaves until late winter when kept in the appropriate conditions. Make sure it gets full to partial sun in 60–70°F temps, away from drafts, and water moderately.

Outside-the-box color in a traditional package

These plants can be placed in a sunny window once they bloom. If you want them to re-bloom, put them in a spot where they’ll get natural sunlight; that way they’ll experience shorter days and long, cool nights to help them along.
