Spring 2015
Easter Rush 2016
Tulips in many colors
Easter is fast approaching—clients will be looking to stock up on material for the holiday and spring open houses. Everyone’s itching to get back in color after the long cold winter, so here’s a rundown of what’s prime in the greenhouses:
Dahlia ‘Star Sister Scarlet and Yellow’
Unique flowers expand our design palette
Beautiful dahlias grace the summer landscape in about as many sizes, shapes, and colors as there are stars in the sky. That’s ok by us, because each one brings its own unique set of features to expand our design palette.
Striped Petunias
‘Glow Blue Stardust’
Remember: for the landscaping business petunias provide a great source of supplemental income—the splash of vibrant color makes a property more appealing with very little effort. Petunias are consistently popular with clients and are useful for freshening up designs throughout the season. We offer a continuous supply grown fresh all summer long, in a wide assortment of colors and types.
Zoo’s Best
Plants from the Pollinator Series
This year we have partnered with The Cincinnati Zoo to supply a local garden brand called Zoo’s Best, based on the plants that have performed well in the Zoo’s trial gardens over the past years. Their first program, the Pollinator Series, focuses on plants that gardeners can use to build a supporting ecosystem for wild pollinators.
New Compact SunPatiens®
SunPatiens® thrive in the heat and humidity
We’ve sung the praises of SunPatiens® on more than one occasion. This hybrid series from Sakata is one we turn to again and again for classic impatiens flower power in sun-loving form. These plants thrive in the heat and humidity, and you can see the size of the flowers.
